All of my ceramics are wheel thrown and as an artist I favour form over function. Inspired by classical and contemporary ceramics, my intention is to create forms that are both modern and tasteful while brandishing value and promoting a sense of worth. Each piece is precious and unique but remains complementary to most modern interiors.

I use several different glazes and techniques to finish each piece including smoke firing, terra sigilata and stoneware glazes.

The surfaces I use are designed to give each piece presence and an initial impact to draw the viewer in for a closer appreciation.

Glazes however have some sense of unpredicatability which I encourage, I also never make the same piece twice despite a stock of standard shapes.

This makes each piece a subtle but unique addition to the collection.
